6-week Youth Classes
**No 6-week youth classes are available for the July session, we will be focusing on our Summer Camps which have options for all ages! Check that out here.
Registration for all 6-week classes closes one week prior to each session start date. Find more info about session dates here.
A $10 late fee will be added for all registrations after this date. Contact the office for late registration.

Print & Type & Zines & Memes- Not enrolling for July 2021
10-14 year olds (inclusive class!)
This 6 week class is all about how ideas are created, and how those ideas are shared! From digital information to analog typeface, students will learn how information and ideas are created, and try their hand at print processes, old and new. Students will finish the class by creating their own printed and editioned zines to be shared near and far!
Clay- Not enrolling for July 2021 (waitlist here)
Handbuilding- ages 9 & up
This hands-on immersion into the world of clay is the perfect introduction to carving, sculpting, connecting, pinching, squishing, shaping and decorating. Throughout this course, we will build each week for greater and greater knowledge of the ceramic arts. Students will be able to glaze and bring home several pieces of their creation upon the completion of six fun-filled weeks. We will explore form and function, texture, structural integrity and harmony in addition to the changing properties of clay. This introductory course is the perfect springboard for more advanced classes and a rewarding relationship with clay.
Fibers- Not enrolling for July 2021
Youth Weaving - all ages based on ability
Students will learn the art of weaving using a table top loom which is perfect for younger weavers. The course covers beginning through advanced levels of weaving. New students may contact the office regarding weaving requirements prior to enrollment.
Child Information Sheet REQUIRED for each child.
Authorized Release Form Optional- Must be completed if you wish your child to be picked up by someone other than you.
You will need to complete the Child Information Sheet and the Authorized Release Form (if applicable) on an annual basis. You may update your information anytime by contacting us at email@example.com.
When inclement weather occurs, class cancellations will be decided by the Instructor of the class. If WE cancel any 6-week classes due to weather or COVID-19, they will be made up at a later date. If class is not canceled, but a student feels unsafe traveling, they can stay home, but NO make-up class will be provided. We encourage you to make up any lost time during open studio hours and ask about any material missed during the following class.
